A woman at Floramar Prison in Divinopolis, Brazil writes in a journal practicing basic skills in literacy where materials such as pens, textbooks and notebooks are donated. IBJ Fellow Dr. Aziz Saliba is programming educational material to reach this prison and many others in Brazil informing local communities about their rights to habeas corpus which protects the accused from illegal internment.
