When prisoners arrive to Presidio Floramar their photos are taken for the record along with their fingerprints. Dr. Aziz Saliba, a 2009 fellow with International Bridges to Justice is trying to educate Brazilian communities about their right to habeus corpus which would reduce the amount of illegal detainments of the accused, an inreasing stress on the already overcrowded penal systems of Brazil.
